August was a month made of error

Where right was made wrong

It was a darkness which deafened

And a night time so long

Oh so long

That it might never end

For in the garden of slumber

There were thistles to tend.

This Poem was in response to a prompt (August) by Sadie Seroxcat for Rainbow Salad. (I should mention, in my part of the world August is quite the heart of winter.)
